Founded in 1921, the Chinese Psychological Association is one of the earliest academic organizations established among the existing national societies in my country, and is the most authoritative national academic organization in the field of psychology in China. The "Chinese Psychological Association Discipline Construction Achievement Award" is awarded to the psychologists who have made outstanding contributions to the development of Chinese psychology, played a major role in various majors for a long time, and have academic national influence. Since the award was established in 2004, a total of 43 psychologists across China have won this honor. Professor Ma Ai is the second Chinese University of Political Science and Law teacher to receive this award after the late Professor Luo Dahua, a famous scholar of our school.

Teacher Ma Ai graduated from our school with a bachelor's degree in law in 1984. After graduation, she stayed at school to engage in legal psychology, crime and criminal justice psychology teaching and research. Since 1984, he has served successively as the secretary, member and secretary, deputy director and secretary, and director of the Legal Psychology Professional Committee of the Chinese Psychological Association (now the Legal Psychology Professional Committee of the Chinese Psychological Association), the highest academic organization in the field of legal psychology in China. It is worth mentioning that Teacher Ma Ai has a liberal arts knowledge background, and his ability to achieve such high achievements in the field of psychology, which belongs to the natural sciences, is inseparable from his love for academics, his sense of mission for subject development, and personal struggles and sacrifices. During his 35-year teaching career, he not only overcame difficulties and used his 3-year vacation to study for a master's degree in educational and developmental psychology at the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, but also obtained a doctorate in criminal psychology from China University of Political Science and Law in 2007. . While dedicating to the cause of legal psychology in China, Mr. Ma Ai has been committed to the construction of legal psychology and talent training in our school for a long time. He also devoted himself to teaching and scientific research. He has won the "most popular among undergraduates" three times.
