On the afternoon of December 29, the first China University of Political Science and Law Teacher Teaching Innovation Competition was successfully held. Vice President Chang Baoguo attended the launching ceremony of the competition. The competition invites experts from Peking University, Beijing Normal University, Beijing Jiaotong University, and Minzu University of China as well as on-campus experts to serve as judges. 31 teachers selected from 14 teaching units of our school participated in the competition.
The competition was divided into three groups: senior group, deputy senior group, and intermediate group according to the title of the main lecturer. The participating teachers and teams of the School of Social Sciences achieved good results in this competition.
Teacher Liu Jianqing and his team won the first prize in the senior group. The team members are Teacher Ma Ai, Teacher Liu Xiaoqian, and Teacher Zhao Hui;
Teacher Meng Qingyan and his team won the first prize of the Deputy Senior Group. The team members are Teachers Zhao Bingxiang, Teacher Wang Nan and Teacher Zhang Guowang;
After deliberation and decision by the school’s undergraduate teaching steering committee, five teachers and their teams were selected to represent the school to participate in the Beijing University Teacher Teaching Innovation Competition. Two teachers, Liu Jianqing and Meng Qingyan, and their teams were selected. Among the five places in the school, the School of Social Sciences was selected two item.
This achievement fully demonstrates the teaching level and innovative ability of our teachers. All teachers in the college should take this as an example and an opportunity to perform their duties in teaching work, fully innovate teaching concepts and methods, and train students for better and more precise training. Ability to contribute to the construction of double first-class disciplines in the School of Sociology.
