In July 2021, School of Sociology signed an agreement with Beijing Changping Huayou Hospital to build a practice teaching base. Professor Yang Bo, Department of Psychology, School of Sociology School, Zhang Zhuo, head of psychology Department, Teacher Liu Xiaoqian, Li Xiaodong, president of Beijing Changping Huayou Hospital, Vice President Zhang Jianwu, Human resources director Wang Guangju and others jointly attended the Internship Initiation Ceremony. On behalf of our hospital, Professor Yang Bo received books from President Li Xiaodong of Hua You Hospital.

Beijing Changping Huayou Hospital is a specialized hospital engaged in addiction rehabilitation and psychological rehabilitation, which integrates clinical, scientific research and teaching. At present, the hospital is divided into outpatient department, inpatient department, physical and mental rehabilitation center of Traditional Chinese and Western medicine, addiction identification center and so on. The hospital not only has first-class hardware facilities, but also has many well-known experts and rich experience in the field of addiction treatment and psychological rehabilitation. It is a good classroom for students to carry out professional social practice.

Previously, in order to promote the close combination of applied psychology of our hospital and practical department. Professor Yang Bo of the Department of Psychology in the research team and Beijing Changping Huayou Hospital has carried out long-term active cooperation. This joint construction of practice teaching base is a continuation and deepening of the previous cooperation, which can give full play to the resource advantages of both sides and truly realize the "combination of industry and learning and resource complementarity".

After the launching ceremony, the leaders of Beijing Changping Huayou Hospital introduced the development status, main business and future planning of the hospital to the 7 undergraduate students of 2018, and led them to visit the inpatient wards of addiction rehabilitation and psychological rehabilitation, understand the management mode of hospital treatment. Finally, the hospital signed an internship agreement with 7 undergraduate students. All the students said that it was a valuable opportunity to combine the psychological knowledge learned from the textbook with the application practice of treating patients, and they would cherish it all the more and earnestly learn from the intern teacher.

This signing ceremony is a new starting point for the cooperation between the School of Sociology, China University of Political Science and Law and Beijing Changping Huayou Hospital. In the future, the two sides will continue to explore the cultivation mode of psychological talents through joint efforts and strive for better results in cooperation.
