中国政法大学社会学院教授，钱端升学者, 博导。博士毕业于美国德州农机大学（Texas A&M University-College Station, USA）。曾担任美国弗吉尼亚联邦大学社会学助理教授，以及中国人民大学、上海交通大学和对外经济贸易大学暑期国际学校的特聘教授。
